Booking Cancellation Policy

Each listing on Shuttrd is managed by an independent host. Hosts select the cancellation policy that best suits their space and operational preferences. The applicable cancellation policy for your booking will always be clearly displayed on the listing page before confirmation and in your booking details.

Free Cancellation Window
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the booking start time
Guest Refund Rules
Cancel 24+ hours before booking start → 100% refund, including service fees
Cancel less than 24 hours before booking start → 50% refund
Host Payout Rules
Canceled 24+ hours before booking start → No host payout
Canceled less than 24 hours before booking start → Host receives 50% payout
Free Cancellation Window
Free cancellation up to 3 days (72 hours) before booking start
Guest Refund Rules
Cancel 72+ hours before booking start → 100% refund
Cancel less than 72 hours before booking start → 50% refund
Cancel less than 24 hours before booking start → No refund
Host Payout Rules
Canceled 72+ hours before booking start → No host payout
Canceled less than 72 hours before booking start → Host receives 50% payout
Canceled less than 24 hours before booking start → Host receives 100% payout

Free cancellation up to 7 days before booking start
Guest Refund Rules
Cancel 7+ days before booking start → 100% refund
Cancel between 7 and 5 days before booking start → 50% refund
Cancel less than 5 days before booking start → No refund
Host Payout Rules
Canceled 7+ days before booking start → No host payout
Canceled between 7–5 days before booking start → Host receives 50% payout
Canceled less than 5 days before booking start → Host receives 100% payout
Free Cancellation Window
No free cancellation, except for the 24-hour global grace period
Guest Refund Rules
Cancel within 24 hours of booking (start time 7+ days away) → 100% refund
After the 24-hour grace period → No refund
Host Payout Rules
After the 24-hour grace period → Host receives 100% payout
2. Modification Policy
- •Booking modifications are subject to availability and host approval
- •Modifications that reduce the total booking value may be treated as partial cancellations and follow the applicable cancellation policy
- •Modifications that increase booking value may incur additional charges
3. Refund Processing
- •Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days
- •Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout
4. Early Departure & Unused Time
No refunds are provided for early departures or unused time once the booking has started.
5. Force Majeure
In cases of events beyond reasonable control (including natural disasters, government restrictions, or safety emergencies), Shuttrd reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings without penalty, at its sole discretion.
6. Booking Fees & Service Charges
All platform service fees are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7. Valid Cancellations
- •All cancellation requests must be submitted through the Shuttrd platform
- •A cancellation is considered valid only after confirmation is displayed or communicated by Shuttrd
8. Acceptance of Policy
By completing a booking on Shuttrd, you acknowledge that:
- •You have reviewed the applicable cancellation policy
- •You agree to the refund and payout terms associated with your booking
- •Cancellation rules are enforced automatically based on the selected policy
9. Communication
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our booking platform. Please ensure to receive a confirmation of your cancellation from our team to ensure it has been processed successfully.
